The Arda's meanders reveal beautiful panoramas around Ardino. One of the best-known views is the Bend at Kardzhali Reservoir, between Star Chitak and Ribartsi. Here the Arda and Borovitsa meet among the green Eastern Rhodope hills.
The Bend is reached through Borovitsa village. Its wide views of water and mountains attract landscape photographers. Other scenic bends can be seen around Rusalsko and Lyubino.
